Director (Founder)

Our director founded BHL Ministries in memory of her dad that passed a few years ago. She founded this faith-based organization based on the needs of the people in the community where she lived. After completing her post educational studies she went on to start the foundation that we now know as BHL Ministries Inc.

Ms. B. Jennings is the founder of BHL Ministries Inc. and currently a resident of Virginia and a native of Upstate New York. She has more than 20 years of executive management experience and more than 30 years of experience in health care.

Ms. Jennings currently holds the position of executive health care manager as her employer is the largest health care system in the US. Ms. Jennings acquired her post-secondary education in various parts of the U.S. She has a focus in health care, law enforcement, real estate, jurisprudence (law), and travel and tourism. She is active in her church ministry and serves as an evangelist. Additionally, she is a mentor, coach, mediator, and team builder. Her ability to bridge differences during difficult times has proven to be one of her most valuable assets. She has a deep passion for helping others at times to her own detriment. During her professional career, Ms. Jennings has been the first to reach many heights. She brings a passion for helping others and knowledge that will lead BHL Ministries to new heights.

Wheeler

Assistant Director (COO)

Mr. Dwayne Wheeler is a resident of Maryland and earned his Bachelor of Arts in Education from Lincoln University in 1999 and a Master of Education with a focus in School Improvement and Leadership was attained at Goucher College in Towson, Maryland in 2005.

In 1999, Mr. Wheeler joined the staff at George D. Lisby at Hillsdale Elementary School in Harford County, Maryland as a first grade teacher. Two years later, he migrated to Baltimore City Public Schools where he taught first grade for three years and second grade for a year. During his tenure as an elementary school educator, his administrator saw in him the potential to be a great teacher leader. Mr. Wheeler was named Teacher of the Year in 2005.

He was encouraged to train and collaborate with teachers to impart his knowledge of and skill in practices that would increase teacher knowledge of content and raise student achievement. Mr. Wheeler was promoted to instructional support teacher where he provided job embedded professional development and teacher training

After a successful experience as an instructional support teacher, Mr. Wheeler was appointed assistant principal in Baltimore, Maryland. One year after his appointment as assistant principal he was promoted to his current role as principal.

In 2009, he was recognized for academic achievement on the Maryland School Performance Program. Under Mr. Wheeler’s leadership, the school in 2010 received the Certificate of Excellence for The Best Practice Charter School for the state of Maryland. In 2011, Mr. Wheeler successfully developed a charter school that was recognized as the Charter School of the Year.

Fox

Financial Administrator

Ms. Adreiona Fox is a resident of Chicagoland area where she works has a program analyst and has the responsibility of auditing more than 185 stores on the east coast. Ms. Fox is a youth minister in her church, providing direction and leadership for young adults. Ms. Fox mentors high school students on the South Side of Chicago and is part of the detention center church ministry. She has a background in finance, banking, auditing, and leadership development. Ms. Fox completed her studies in business administration.

Lisa

Director of Planning and Events (South East Region)

Ms. Lisa Straughter is a resident of Valdosta, Georgia where she is a leader in her community and is most noted as a gifted musician with the ability to sing harmoniously. She has been the manager of the Anointed Straughter Sisters for more than 15 years and a youth pastor at her church. She has a background in travel and tourism, leadership development, and project management. Ms. Straughter completed her studies in Georgia.

Dr. Maurice White

EEO Consultant

Dr. Maurice White is a resident of Maryland and has more than 20 years of active U.S. Army and U.S. Army Reserve service. During this time he has served in three conflicts: Grenada, The First Persian Gulf War, and the Second Persian Gulf War. Dr. White is currently a Captain in the Army Reserve and the Commander of the Criminal Investigation Division (CID). He has held other leadership positions as Executive Officer, Company Commander, and acting Battalion Commander. He’s also an Army Ranger.

Dr. White has been awarded numerous combat and meritorious service medals and ribbons during his military career. He is also a graduate of the U.S. Army Drill Sergeant Academy, Army Ranger and Airborne School, the Officer Basic and Advance Course (Military Police), and the Military Police and Combat Infantry School. Dr. White holds a Master of Arts degree in Counseling (Psychology) and a Ph.D. He has more than 20 years of experience in Civil Rights, Diversity and Inclusion.

Bishop T. Tyrone Tribbett

Consultant and Advisor

Bishop T. Tyrone Tribbett is a consultant and advisor for BHL Ministries Inc. Bishop Tribbett has successfully pioneered many nonprofit organizations during his lifetime and brings a wealth of knowledge and a broad range of experience to this organization. He is a graduate of Rutgers University and a native of New Jersey. He is the father of national gospel recording artist Tye Tribbett. Bishop Tribbett has achieved numerous accomplishments and is a pillar in his community.

Mark Jennings

Coordinator of Sports Events

Mr. Mark Jennings is a native of Upstate New York and has more than 10 years of working with youth that have been placed in state residential homes. Mr. Jennings is active at the local YMCA coaching basketball and providing guidance.

Mr. Jennings has completed studies in radio communication and has been an assistant college basketball coach. Mr. Jennings is noted for his talent as a star performer while attending his post-secondary education. His area of concentration is coaching, leadership development, and sports communication.

Raquel Collier-Jennings

Program Manager

Mrs. Raquel Collier-Jennings is currently a resident of Upstate New York and is employed as an administrative officer. She is a graduate of Delaware State University where her area of study was psychology. Mrs. Collier is a noted athlete in that her basketball skills earned her an athletic scholarship.

Mrs. Collier is an avid believer in helping others and devotes her time by volunteering and coaching basketball programs for boys and girls. Additionally, Ms. Collier assists high school basketball coaches. Ms. Collier takes pride in hard work and possesses outstanding leadership artistry.

Phrophetess Judith C. Pearson

Clergy Consultant and Public Relations Officer

Prophetess Judith C. Pearson is a native of Baltimore, Maryland. She was educated in the Baltimore City Public Schools and is a graduate of Northwestern High School. She attended the Community College of Baltimore, Baltimore School of the Bible, and the United Baptist School of Theology.

Prophetess Pearson completed a certificate program on “Perspectives on the World Christian Movement.” She is also the author of The Broken Rib, an article which explores the relationship between man and woman, Christ and church.

Prophetess Pearson accepted her calling to preach God’s Word and was ordained on September 26th, 1981 by the late Bishop G.K. Baxter of the Deliverance Tabernacle of America, Inc. Her first sermon was titled, Help is on the Wayjoh and based on John 11:1–7.

Prophetess Pearson has been married to Elder Lee Pearson Sr. for more than 30 years. They have three children, two sons-in-law, one daughter-in-law, and seven grandchildren. They have opened their home as Foster Parents to more than 10 children.

God has blessed Prophetess Pearson to be founder of “Sisters Jamming for Jesus, Inc.” a non-profit 501(c)3 certified organization. This outreach ministry is for women and teen girls from all walks of life. The ministry was located in the Randallstown, Maryland area for five years. Prophetess Pearson also has a prison ministry for more than five years. God has gifted her to clergy robes, gowns, dresses, shirts, suits and much more.

Prophetess Pearson realizes that in order to reach her dream, she must go through the struggle. She must stand steady and not be afraid of suffering for the Lord. She must bring others to Christ and leave nothing undone that God has assigned her to do. She is known for saying: “Go ahead Jesus, with your bad self!”

Phillip Caton

Chief Financial Officer

Phillip Caton is our Chief Financial Officer and owns his own financial business (Caton Financial Services). He is a mentor, financial educator, preacher, and a finance officer for many non-profit organizations. He has a passion for children and has created many pathways for them to excel in math and reading. He has proven to be an invaluable asset and a leader in his community. He has been with BHL Ministries since it's inception.
